    A full year of Club, free for every new club

    Every new club now gets a full year on the Club plan free — no card needed. Plus new pricing and a Circuit plan for leagues and counties.

    • NewEvery new club gets a full year on the Club plan completely free — the entire product, no card required. After 12 months you can subscribe to keep Club, or move to the free Starter plan. Your data is never deleted.
    • ImprovedThe free Starter plan (where you land after your first year) now supports unlimited members — no more 40-member cap. It covers fixtures, availability, one competition, one league, and rink booking for one green.
    • NewClub is £240/year (or £24/month) after the free first year: the treasurer & payments module, unlimited competitions, multiple greens and leagues, automated availability & payment reminders, and priority support.
    • NewCircuit plan (from £600/year) for leagues, districts, and counties — connect multiple clubs with self-updating league tables, county competitions and selection, and association-wide announcements.

    Contact form, Help centre & email overhaul

    Better support, cleaner auth emails, and a real FAQ you can point members to.

    • NewContact page at /contact — members and visitors can submit messages directly from the app. Sends an auto-reply confirmation to the sender.
    • NewHelp & FAQ page at /help — 22 questions across six sections covering setup, members, competitions, rink booking, billing, and technical topics.
    • NewCookie consent banner with Accept / Reject controls, linked to the Privacy Policy.
    • NewCustom Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages (UK GDPR).
    • NewCustom 404 and global error pages with support links.
    • ImprovedAuth emails (invite, confirm sign-up, password reset) now send from noreply@teamspacehq.com with full Bowlside branding.
    • ImprovedInvite links now correctly point to www.teamspacehq.com instead of the old preview URL.
    • FixedTransactional match-notification emails were falling back to noreply@yourdomain.com due to a wrong env-var name. Now correctly reads RESEND_FROM_ADDRESS.

    Rink booking improvements & public kiosk

    Multi-rink selection, a kiosk mode for the clubhouse screen, and a cleaner booking calendar.

    • NewKiosk mode at /kiosk — shows today's rink bookings on a shared screen without requiring anyone to log in. Designed for a clubhouse TV or tablet.
    • NewMulti-rink selection in the booking form. Pick any combination of rinks for a single booking, with a free toggle and minimum-one guard.
    • NewRecurring bookings now support fortnightly cadence in addition to weekly.
    • ImprovedRink selector now shows all rinks on the green regardless of which rink was clicked to open the form.
    • ImprovedMonth calendar view highlights your own club's bookings and shows a National/County badge for county fixtures.
    • ImprovedBooking type filter added to all calendar views.

    Open sections competitions & live draw

    A whole new competition format — open sections (OSC) — plus a live draw mode for drawing in front of members.

    • NewOpen sections competition (OSC) format: configurable number of sections, automatic seeding across sections, and group-stage scheduling.
    • NewLive draw mode — step through each round in real time with your members watching. Each name is revealed one at a time.
    • NewPublic tournament page at /t/[id] — share a read-only draw and results link that works without an account. Toggle on from the tournament overview.
    • NewVisual knock-out bracket view for single-elimination tournaments.
    • ImprovedSets scoring: enter per-set scores rather than just the overall result. Final result is calculated automatically.
    • ImprovedResult confirmation now shows the proposed score before the second player is asked to confirm.

    Subscriptions, guest entries & waiting lists

    Billing is live. Clubs on the free tier have full functionality up to 40 members and 1 active tournament.

    • NewSubscription billing via Stripe. Free plan: up to 40 members, 1 active tournament. Club plan (£9/month): unlimited members and tournaments.
    • NewGuest entry — add a non-member to a tournament draw without inviting them to the club.
    • NewWaiting list for oversubscribed tournaments. Players are promoted automatically when a spot opens.
    • NewTournament rules — admins can upload a PDF rules document that members can view from the tournament page.
    • ImprovedHandicap management: set, adjust, and display player handicaps per competition. Handicap is shown on draw and bracket views.
    • ImprovedMy Matches page consolidates all of a member's active matches across all competitions.
    • ImprovedNotification bell with slide-in drawer and a dedicated /notifications page.

    Launch

    Bowlside is live. Everything you need to run your club's competitions — no spreadsheets required.

    • NewMember management — add, edit, and import members from CSV. Assign admin roles.
    • NewTournament management — knockout and round-robin draws with seeding. One-day competition format.
    • NewMatch scheduling — players propose and confirm dates via a threaded conversation on each match page.
    • NewResult entry — either player submits; the other confirms. Admins can award walkovers.
    • NewRink booking — roll-ups, friendly matches, club competitions, and admin-only types. Recurring bookings supported.
    • NewEmail notifications via Resend for match scheduling, results, and invites.
    • NewClub settings — name, sport, and subscription management all in one place.
